I decided to try out a recipe from Forks Over Knives. This is a nice oil free recipe with some of my own twist. I had to improvise on the some of the unexpected challenges. I attached the recipe link below.
My change to the top layering included diced potatoes with the nutritional yeast. The original recipe provided a side note on the degree of sticky texture to the topping. It made it impossible for me to smooth across the pan, so I added a chunky layer which turned out nicely.
Maybe I’ll try the recipe again using water or plant based milk with a hand mixer. If anyone else tries this recipe or has some tips about it, let me know!
